I need your help - should we keep doing this podcast?

So, I haven't posted a podcast in almost two weeks. I'm losing interest. Maybe that means you are too. I'm not sure. Starting and leaving something to wither in the sun is a bad habit I have. Today I make some confessions about that, provide an update on my friend's podcast, and ask for your opinion.

Let me know if we should keep this thing going. If we do, let's figure out a format that works for you and works for me.

Connect with me on socials!!

Twitter: https://twitter.com/Workshop_Joe

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/workshop_joe/

Website: coming soon?

Time - who can master it

Goals are great but without a timetable for completion, they are nothing more than dreams. The last part of the SMART goals acronym is Time-bound. This is an essential part of measuring your goals, knowing if they are realistic and if they are attainable. Failure to establish a timetable can allow projects to run on endlessly. Time-bound goals will also help you cut out the non-essentials. There are often some items needed to launch while others can be attended to later. Defining the differences is key to moving forward. Time-bound goals will also help you identify problems in your process. If you consistently miss deadlines, there is a problem that has to be addressed. These can be hard conversations but are so important for the growth of yourself and your team.

Connect with me on socials!!

Twitter: https://twitter.com/Workshop_Joe

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/workshop_joe/

Website: coming soon?

Realistic - don't kid yourself

Aim high but be real about what you can accomplish. This can be a very difficult conversation, but knowing your limitations is the key to finding success. Often people don't want to admit where they fall short. They see this are a threat to their self-worth instead of an opportunity to improve. Being realistic about your goals also ensures you aren't investing time in the wrong area. If you have prerequisites, you'll need to address those first. If you were to skip those intermediate steps, you could end up wasting time which can be a huge setback. It's also important you have a good team around you to be honest about your abilities and workload.

Connect with me on socials!!

Twitter: https://twitter.com/Workshop_Joe

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/workshop_joe/

Website: coming soon?
