At what point does providing for your family turn into feeding your ego?
In this episode of Fairyqueen Talks, we explore a powerful story shared by Dr. John Delony about the moment his wife told him, “We have enough (https://share.google/YqcTYNeDirVYq1L5m).” What followed was a deeper conversation about ambition, identity, work-life balance, and the courage to redefine success.
How do you know when your career has given you enough? When does ambition align with your values — and when does it start outrunning them? Are you building a beautiful life… that you don’t actually participate in?
We talk about:
The subtle shift from provision to ego
Recognizing when time becomes more valuable than money
The difference between providing experiences and being present in them
Why your family will remember your presence more than your promotions
And how to reassess what “success” truly means in this season of your life
Because you can’t buy back time. And the life you worked so hard to build should be one you actually get to live.
If you’ve ever wrestled with ambition, responsibility, or redefining “enough,” this episode is for you.

The Blueprint That Brought Me Back to Myself
This month marks three years since I completed an intense series of therapy following a mental health crisis five years ago.
In this deeply reflective episode, I’m not sharing the private details of what happened, some parts of our story are sacred. Instead, I’m sharing something that changed my life: the Relapse Management Blueprint my therapist encouraged me to create at the end of treatment.
In this episode, I walk you through the powerful questions that helped me understand:
How my struggles developed, and what kept them going
The core lessons I learned about value, vulnerability and identity
The coping strategies I refuse to forget
My early warning signs
What I now know I must do to stay well
How I’m using my experience to help others
This conversation is about growth without exposure.Healing without shame.Strength without pretending.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, pressured to be “superwoman,” stuck in the future, or afraid of not being enough, this episode is for you.
You are not defined by your hardest chapter. You can build your own blueprint.

Oxygen, Capacity & Showing Up for Each Other
“Put your oxygen mask on first.”
We hear this phrase all the time when talking about self-care. In emergencies, it makes perfect sense, you can’t help anyone else if you can’t breathe.
But what about when we’re not at 35,000 feet?
On the ground, oxygen is abundant. Yet so many of us live as if we’re gasping for air, overwhelmed, overstimulated, and constantly saying, “I can’t help anyone right now, I need to focus on myself.”
In this episode of Fairyqueen Talks, I explore the limits of the oxygen mask metaphor and what self-care truly means outside of crisis mode. We unpack how to build real capacity through daily, intentional restoration, and how helping others, when we genuinely have the capacity, benefits not only them but also our own psychological and physical well-being.
We’ll talk about:
• The difference between restoration and avoidance
• How to create emotional and mental capacity
• Why helping others strengthens community and resilience
• The ripple effect of generosity rooted in wholeness
Self-care is not isolation.
It’s preparation for participation.
When we breathe deeply on the ground, we can show up powerfully for others.
