Faith & Finance on American Family Radio

About Faith & Finance on American Family Radio

Airing live at 9 a.m. CST on American Family Radio, Faith & Finance aims to provide biblical wisdom on a variety of financial topics. Hosted by Rob West, the show features special guests and financial experts, as well as answers to call-in questions. In 1988, Christian Financial Concepts and Crown Financial Ministries co-founder Larry Burkett started a question-and-answer radio program called “Money Matters,” which was co-hosted by Steve Moore. After Larry’s passing and homegoing in 2003, Crown’s other co-founder, Howard Dayton, became the new host, and in 2011, Money Matters was transformed into MoneyWise by Dayton's new organization, Compass – Finances God’s Way. In 2017, Kingdom Advisors (another organization Larry Burkett co-founded) acquired the MoneyWise radio broadcast ministry, and in January 2023, they changed the name of the radio program to Faith & Finance. Today, under the leadership of radio host Rob West, Faith & Finance is available on your favorite podcast platforms and on the AFR website and mobile app.

On this Faith & Finance on AFR, Rob West discusses how Christians should think about AI and money. Then, it’s on to calls.

   Begging To Give

What if the greatest evidence of generosity isn’t how much you give, but how badly you want to do so? When the apostle Paul describes the Macedonians, he tells us something remarkable: these believers were poor and suffering yet begged for the privilege of giving. On this Faith & Finance on AFR, Rob West explores a heart transformed by grace. Then, it’s on to calls.

   Passing Wisdom Before Wealth

What will you leave to the next generation, and will they be prepared to steward it well? A faithful wealth transfer involves more than deciding who gets what. In Scripture, David prepared Solomon not only with resources, but also with wisdom, purpose, and responsibility. On this Faith & Finance on AFR, Rob West and Dr. Kelly Rush explore David’s example about passing wealth well. Then, it’s on to calls.
