Episode -7 God's Plan for our money-Enjoying Life
<p><strong>Ephesians 1:17-21</strong> I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come</p>

Episode - 6 - Building an Inheritance
<p>The New Testament does not speak of a physical inheritance but rather a spiritual inheritance. In fact, in <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Luke%2012.13-21" target="_blank">Luke 12:13-21</a>, Jesus downplays the importance of an earthly inheritance, explaining that it can lead to greed and an obsession with wealth. It is far better to store up treasures in heaven. Our inheritance, like the Israelites’, is from God (<a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Acts%2020.32" target="_blank">Acts 20:32</a>; <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Eph%201.11" target="_blank">Ephesians 1:11</a>, <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Ephesians%201.14" target="_blank">14</a>, <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Ephesians%201.18" target="_blank">18</a>). And, like Abraham (<a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Heb%2011.8" target="_blank">Hebrews 11:8</a>, <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Hebrews%2011.13" target="_blank">13</a>), we will not receive our inheritance in this lifetime (<a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/1%20Pet%201.4" target="_blank">1 Peter 1:4</a>). What is this inheritance? <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Ps%2037.11" target="_blank">Psalm 37:11</a> and <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Matt%205.5" target="_blank">Matthew 5:5</a> say it’s the whole earth. <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/James%202.5" target="_blank">James 2:5</a> says it’s the kingdom of God, and <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Heb%2011.16" target="_blank">Hebrews 11:16</a> calls it a heavenly country. <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/1%20Cor%202.9" target="_blank">First Corinthians 2:9</a> says it is so wonderful, that "eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him." And <a href="https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Rev%2021" target="_blank">Revelation 21</a> describes a new heaven and new earth where God will dwell among His people and take away tears, mourning, pain, and death.</p>

We live in the most financially blessed society in the history of the world, but many of us are quick to squander the blessings on ourselves. That’s not God’s plan, though; the New Testament makes it clear that we are blessed to be a blessing, to <a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+25:40&version=NIV" target="_blank" title="Matt. 25:40--"The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"">give to the poor</a>, and to” <a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=II%20Cor%209:11&version=NIV" target="_blank" title="II Cor. 9:11 -- "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."">be generous on every occasion</a>.”</p>
