In Psalm 13, David moves from asking, “How long?” to declaring, “I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” This message reminds us that faith does not mean we never question God or face seasons we do not understand; it means we know where to take our questions and where to place our trust. When the present makes us wonder what God is doing, we can look back and remember the times we prayed, the times we trusted, the prayers God answered, and the countless ways He has shown His goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Our circumstances may change, but God’s character does not. As we look back over the road He has brought us through, may we be able to say with David, “He hath dealt bountifully with me.”

Building a House for God
In Joshua 24, Joshua brings Israel to a defining moment of spiritual decision: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.” As we consider what it means to build a faith that lasts, this message challenges us to recognize that every home is being shaped by something and calls us to deliberately build our homes around the Lord. We will examine five practical truths from Joshua 24:14–28—fearing God, removing competing gods, making a definite decision to serve the Lord, understanding the cost of wholehearted commitment, and making that commitment visible in everyday life. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, single, or simply seeking to faithfully follow Christ, the question remains the same: What kind of house are you building, and can you sincerely say, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”?
