Thanks so much for stopping by! This podcast is a way for me to connect and do life with you. To share different experiences with the same God. Being a christian isn't out of convenience or a title, in fact, its unpopular and hard to follow Christ. Seeking Gods will for our life requires alot of patience and discipline. It requires us to die to self. To heal and grow. There is more to see of this world in the unseen. Spiritual awakening is the catalyst to finding out truth. I hope that what I share inspires you to seek out those signs and wonders for yourself. That what you are in search of is right in front of you, tugging on your heart, speaking in all ways, calling you back home.

Episode 8 - Growing Pains

There is a reason why the Bible says not many walk the straight and narrow. Surrendering and following Christ is not easy. But when we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us and produce fruits, we have an outcome that is pleasing to ourselves, but more importantly to God. The more and more we operate in the spirit and adhere to God's voice, that's where true change comes in. If we quench the spirit, that little voice gets more faint and without God, we stand no chance against sin and temptation. Believing there is only one true God is half the battle, it's what we do after, that counts. Jesus says to Nicodemus in John chapter 3 that those who do the Will of my father will enter the kingdom of heaven. These words should be taken very seriously as someone who has the knowledge of truth. Of course we aren't always going to get it right, but it's how we recover that matters. Will we keep making a conscious effort to sin? Or will we keep making a conscious effort to turn from it? Will our fruits and deeds bring people to Jesus? That is truly how we make disciples.

Scripture that was mentioned in this episode:

2 Corinthians 10:5

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Holy Spirit

Conviction. Helping us reflect on the spirit of Christ. Transforms our perspective of I should be doing this to I WANT to do this. It's a conscious effort.

Developing in us the fruits of the spirit:

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control

Do not quench the Spirit

•1 Thessalonians 5:19-22•

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

James 2:18

But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

James 2:19

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

SIN NO MORE

John 5- Jesus healed the paralyzed man by the pool- he told him to pick up his mat and sin no more

Matthew 12:43-45

When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first

James 5:7

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains

Episode 7 - When I Do Becomes I Can't (with Justin Garcia)

With my first guest being my husband Justin, I wanted to have an open discussion about dating, marriage, and parenthood. We both have experienced a lot of the wrong things in order to get to something right, but most importantly with God. Navigating through life’s hardships as one can be challenging yet rewarding. We both get super vulnerable and transparent and share what God has done in us and for us in this season of our life. I hope this episode encourages you to not give up in your pursuit of finding her person. To not look for the perfect person, but someone who is willing to change and adapt as life does the same. Waiting is a painful part of the process but it is absolutely necessary. God withholds no good thing from us and even when we have that good thing, he wants to ensure we steward it well!

Episode 6 - A Beautiful Goodbye

I wanted to dedicate this episode to my beautiful mommy, Linda. I lost her a couple months ago unexpectedly and this has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to endure so far in my life. I will forever have the tragic memories of her last days here but the memories of her healthy will always supersede. The warm memories of her love and her laughter, will forever be apart of me. She was the best mother anyone could have asked for. And she had every excuse to not be. But she fulfilled her God given assignment and has prepared me to fulfill mine. Me and my mother had a tough upbringing and life but that generational loop ends with me. I know my mom is watching over Talia and rooting for her, rooting for us, from heaven. Not a day goes by that my mom isn’t on my heart and mind. Linda Grace Tuorto you left behind a beautiful legacy. And all I want to do is make you so proud. I love you mom. Thank you for your visits, it gets me through the hard days. I will look out for them for the rest of my life.
