   Should Christians Keep the Sabbath?

Is the Sabbath still binding for Christians? Many in the Hebrew Roots Movement teach that believers must return to seventh-day Sabbath-keeping, but Scripture shows a far greater rest awaits us in Christ. In this episode of Faith of the Fathers, we explore: ✝️ The Sabbath Fulfilled in Christ — Jesus offers true rest for the soul, freeing us from the burden of law-keeping (Matthew 11:28–30; Hebrews 4:9–10). 📖 Biblical and Historical Perspective — How the early church understood the Sabbath and why believers gather on Sunday, the Lord’s Day, in celebration of Christ’s resurrection (John 20:1, Revelation 1:10; Acts 20:7). ⚖️ Freedom in the Spirit — Colossians 2:16–17 and Romans 14:5–6 remind us that rest and worship are not bound to a legalistic calendar. Christians honor God not by observing a day of law, but by resting in the finished work of Christ and living in the joy of the resurrection. 📖 Where Scripture matters, and history is the Lord’s. #HebrewRoots #Sabbath #LordsDay #FaithOfTheFathers #ChristianApologetics #RestInChrist

How Old Is the Earth? Scripture, Church Fathers, and Scientific Evidence

How old is the earth? Is it billions of years old, or does Scripture, history, and observable science point to a much younger age? In this episode of Faith of the Fathers, we explore the age of the earth from a Young Earth Creation (YEC) perspective: 📖 Biblical Genealogies — Trace the timeline from Adam to Noah, Noah to Moses, and Moses to Jesus. Scripture provides a measurable history pointing to a roughly 6,000-year-old earth. ✝️ Church Fathers — Irenaeus, Clement of Alexandria, Theophilus of Antioch, and Hippolytus all affirmed a young creation, showing the historic church consistently held this view. 🔬 Scientific Evidence — Tree rings, topsoil accumulation, radiocarbon in fossils, and other observations from creation science (including Henry Morris’ work) align with a young earth model. This episode shows that faith and science do not conflict when interpreted biblically. The earth is God’s creation, recent and fully under His sovereign design. 📖 Where Scripture matters, and history is the Lord’s. #YoungEarthCreation #BibleHistory #ChristianApologetics #FaithOfTheFathers #CreationScience

Evidence for a Global Flood: Fossils, Geology, and Ancient Testimony

Was Noah’s flood just a myth—or a historical reality written in Scripture, remembered by nations, and recorded in the rocks? In this episode of Faith of the Fathers, we explore the overwhelming evidence for a biblical, global flood: 🌊 Scripture — Genesis 6–9, 2 Peter, and Jesus’ own words about the days of Noah. 📜 Ancient Cultures — From Mesopotamia’s Epic of Gilgamesh to flood legends in Greece, India, China, and over 200 tribes worldwide. ✝️ Early Church Fathers — Josephus, Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Theophilus, and Hippolytus affirming the flood as true history. 🪨 Geological Evidence — Polystrate fossils, bent rock layers, fossil graveyards, and marine fossils on mountaintops. The flood is not a children’s tale or borrowed myth—it is God’s judgment and salvation, a warning of final judgment, and a pointer to Christ, our Ark of refuge. 📖 Where Scripture matters, and history is the Lord’s. 👉 If this content strengthens your faith, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. #NoahsArk #BiblicalFlood #ChristianApologetics #CreationEvidence
