Finding a church can feel harder than simply finding a building to walk into. Sometimes there are unspoken fears, past experiences, insecurities, or obstacles that keep us from truly finding community with other believers.
In this episode, we talk about what it really means to find a church home and become part of a community. We take a closer look at the importance of being mindful of those who may feel overlooked and remembering that everyone has a purpose and a place within the body of Christ.
We also challenge the idea of simply showing up to church expecting to receive. Yes, there are seasons when the church feels like a hospital a place where we come hurting, healing, and in need of care. But in most seasons, the church should also feel like a gym. There are gains to be made, but growth requires participation. Showing up for more than just the Sunday service.
This conversation is an invitation to look beyond simply finding a church and ask ourselves how we can become an active part of what God has called us to.

The Blessing He Was Preparing
In this episode, Meaghan Pulice opens up about her journey through addiction, recovery, acceptance, and learning to trust God’s timing. She shares how healing, setting boundaries, accepting support, and surrendering her own timeline ultimately prepared her for a blessing she never could have planned. After letting go of the pressure to become a mother on her own timeline, she and her husband opened their hearts to adoption and soon found themselves welcoming a child into their home in the most unexpected way. Today, their son is a beautiful reminder of God’s timing and the way He can bring seemingly separate stories together. A story of healing, faith, surrender, and the beauty of realizing that sometimes the waiting was preparing us for exactly what we were praying for.

Talyssa Ellet shares a powerful reminder of the importance of early detection as she opens up about her journey through diagnosis, fear and uncertainty. Along the way she reflects on the people who stood beside her, the gratitude she found in the middle of it all and the faith that became an unexpected source of strength.
