K.L. Gilchrist is an author of "Commercial Fiction with a Godly Message". I've been a committed Christian for nearly 30 years, but it took more than 20 years before I turned my novel writing dream into a reality. I've written and pitched books to publishers and experienced rejection for more than five years. But how many of us know that when God gives a vision, he expects you to carry it out? Out of frustration I turned to self-publishing and today, every time I look at a sales report email, I just look up at God and praise Him. The publishing industry is changing and God's message is becoming harder and harder to market, and it can even be viewed as hate speech. However, God is good and he continues giving me ideas to write about. I've been able to sell novels. He has put me in rooms with authors who have phenomenal success.
