Kaden/originality&embracing your Fandom
Hello! And thanks for listen to the latest episode of Fake Armor&Fables!
On this episode we welcome Kaden a cosplayer based out of Colorado. Kaden manages to mix fantasy and reality while staying authentic to his own vision. We discuss the genre blending characters of his own design that break the mold on what it means to cosplay a fictional person. His post apocalyptic cyberpunk/medieval aesthetic combined with the backdrop of the Colorado Wilderness and eye for detail in photography comes to life with such awe inspiring legendary cosplay pics. One of my favorite discussions with another cosplayer and I hope you enjoyed the episode.

DASTROX(Ethan)/ harnessing creativity & drawing inspiration from video games
On this episode I will be interviewing the man himself Ethan blanchette (DASTROX).
With his incredible cosplays and infectious enegery , DASTROX Has accumulated over 8’000 followers on Instagram. But those numbers don’t matter because Ethan (dastrox) is a super cool dude with a deep passion for cosplay and the community at large. He has cosplayed as goblin slayer , rengoku from demon slayer , sub zero and so much more. Like most of he is a self taught costume and prop fabricator who has inspired others to jump head first into cosplay. This episode is full of video game tangents , cosplay horror stories , what it means to be a creative individual and how cosplay fuels that artistry.
There are many podcasts out there but not many that focus on cosplayers , con culture and the ever growing number of talented individuals who inhabit these costumes and the community surrounding the con circuit. That is our main mission at FAKE ARMOR&FABLES is to highlight cosplayers in an in depth look at who they are and how they build such wonderful things. Mainly it’s just two geeks sitting down and having a chat.
