11 Ecclesiastes 8:2-17 (Remember Your Creator In Your Choice of Leaders)
* You can get the sermon note sheet at: https://family-bible-church.org/2026Messages/26Jun21.pdf * Over the past two weeks, we have considered that what we say and where we spend our money are indicators of the content of our heart. Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks and that your heart will be planted next to your treasure. * Today, we will see how important the Leader of a Land is on the morality of the land. But, because of the type of governance that we have in this land, we get to choose our leaders - and we then tend to choose leaders who again reflect what is in our hearts! * As we consider Solomon's expression of the Impact of the Reigning King we will then consider the applicational importance of our ability to choose a leader in different realms of our lives. * Each day, we make a choice as to who we want to be our "Leader" - and there are MANY options! That "Leader" will be the primary influencer, instructor, and master of our lives - whether we care to admit it or not. Therefore, like Joshua we need to make a cognitive decision regarding who we, and our household, will serve. And that decision will have to be renewed daily! * This message was presented by Bob Corbin on June 21, 2026 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.

10 Ecclesiastes 5:8-6:2 (Remember Your Creator In Your Wealth)
* You can get the sermon note sheet at: https://family-bible-church.org/2026Messages/26Jun14.pdf Last week, we began our study of Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 by remembering Jesus admonition to the Pharisees that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We prove what is in our hearts by what we say and what we do. Jesus also declared earlier that another indicator of the motivations of our heart is our attitude toward wealth. In Matthew 6:19-21 we read: "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. * In the United States, wealth has become the focal point of "the American Dream." As we in the rest of this chapter, Solomon's flawed fatalistic philosophical outlook is now focused upon the futility of "wealth" as he begins to meditate on the fact that he can't take it with him! * The Scriptures have a lot to say regarding our attitude, acquisition and administration of wealth, and finances specifically. Today, Lord willing, we will briefly consider what the Scriptures have to say regarding our Pursuit of Money and our Use of Money. * This message was presented by Bob Corbin on June 14, 2026 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.

09 Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 (Remember Your Creator In Your Approach to God)
* You can get the sermon note sheet at: https://family-bible-church.org/2026Messages/26Jun07.pdf * Last week, we considered the call to Remember Your Creator in Your Consideration of Others. In that study, we saw that we need to consider the value and needs of the oppressed, our neighbors and those who are "alone" chiefly because they are created by God in His image and likeness - just as we are! * In the study, we reviewed again that the greatest command is to love YHWH our God with all of our heart, soul and strength ... and that the second is like unto it: to love our neighbors as ourselves. * So, it makes sense that after our consideration of our approach towards others that we would consider our approach to God Himself. It almost seems redundant to declare that we need to Remember Your Creator in Your Approach to God ...who is Your Creator! But, sadly, it is a truth of which many "Christians" need to be reminded. * In Ecclesiastes 5, Solomon again speaks truth mixed with his flawed fatalistic philosophical outlook. Lord willing, we will be considering the need to Remember Our Creator in Our Approach to God in the Presence of God and in Our Promises to God. * The theme throughout these verses is the important of our words. As Jesus declared, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45) * This message was presented by Bob Corbin on June 7, 2026 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.
