Family Ties Reintroduction
Welcome back to Family Ties. Back in 2018 we introduced this series by celebrating the 25th anniversary of Crazy Hood Productions. There we captured their story, of how the crew originated and how they evolved. Today, we celebrate the crews 30th anniversary. In these past 5 years the crew has gained massive success, by becoming award winners, partnering with hip-hop's elite, and championing the world of podcasting. On October 20th, 2023 Crazy Hood Productions were honored with their proclamation day and the key to the city of Kendall. October 20th will now and forever be "Crazy Hood Productions Day". With all that success, loyalty and respect still hold true within the crew, as they continue to evolve as professionals and friends. 30 years of friendship that continues to evolve! Always authentic, always crazy. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/familyties/support (https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/familyties/support)

"A CRAZY HOOD STORY"
Welcome to Family Ties, this is a podcast hosted by Jae Havana (http://www.instagram.com/jaehavana). For the past few months I’ve had the opportunity to talk to the entire Crazy Hood Productions family. This is a story of a brotherhood that was birthed in Miami, 25 years ago. And through our love of Hip Hop we’ve built a legacy that goes beyond DADE County. As a collective of talented individuals with a passion for hip hop, we’ve creatively maneuvered our love of the culture into a brand that’s been a staple in Hip Hop History. We’ve been able to reinvent ourselves successfully and genuinely throughout the years. As Hip-Hop has changed since its origin, we continued to push originality. As the days of the BOOM BAP turned into TRAP, we creatively developed a platform to tell the stories of CHAMPS. Tune in each week as I speak to each member. Listen to their story from beginning to present. Always authentic, always CRAZY. "Family Ties Podcast" is a Crazy Hood Productions. This Episode is produced by DJ EFN (http://www.instagram.com/whoscrazy) and JAE HAVANA (http://www.instagram.com/jaehavana). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Family Ties Podcast - "A Playlist Inspired By Season 1: A Crazy Hood Story" Listen Here: Spotify Apple Podcast ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Theme Music: "South-West" is by DJ EFN (feat, MC Eiht, Blu and Kam) with production by The Guild.
