In this episode we have Tim M. who was great enough to come share his story of how trading stocks and options led to a severe addiction for nearly 2 years. Like many of us at the end of it he thought his life was over, but decided to come clean to his wife, family and clients and made a decision to change no matter what lie ahead. Over the last nearly 2 years he has rebuilt his life and gained perspective that true recovery gives us.
He volunteers at the Connecticut Council On Problem Gambling, has a Tik Tok dedicated to helping other called Betting On Recovery amongst many other things he does to give back and continue his recovery journey!

In this episode Matty W. Shares what has worked for him to recover from multiple addictions with multiple and shifting pathways as his recovery has progressed! He has been clean for 6 and a half years and been a CASAC ( Certified Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor) for 5 years. Matty has some great tools he has used personally and now incorporates with his clients including breath work and meditation. Matty shares great insights for those just entering recovery as well as those who have long term recovery. Enjoy!

Note: My computer did not download the zoom recording properly unfortunately so there is no video for this one. Hopefully we will have another one with Chris in the future!
Hello All! In this episode we have Chris L. who is a CASAC-G which is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor with a Gambling Treatment Certification . He is a counselor at New Choices in Schenectady, NY and runs several groups at this treatment center along with providing one on one counseling. He has a great story from start to finish with so many great personal insights on his own addictions and why he has dedicated his life to helping other recover as well! Chris was very brave and open to share everything he did here and I thank him for the great conversation!
