[…] And actually, when you look at the size of them, they're a very similar size to a pea. But this is because they've just been harvested two weeks ago. But for baked beans, they'll be blanched in water and the water will swell them up to take them to the baked bean size, which then when they do that, then they accept the tomato sauce and the tomato sauce is mixed in with them. It's been a very dry summer. Did that help? It helped, but it didn't help. The problem we got at drilling when we planted them, we actually had to put the seed deeper than what we wanted to do to try and hit the moisture. But we then went from, I think, June the 11th was the last rain we had until August the 15th or 18th this year. […]
