From Milwaukee to New York: Isaias Jacobi on Photography, Fashion & Entrepreneurship
On this episode of Fashion Pulse, I’m joined by photographer and creative entrepreneur Isaias Jacobi (IJYOYO) to talk about photography, fashion, business, and his journey from Wisconsin to New York City.
Isaias shares how he got started in creative work, built his photography business, and eventually made the move from Milwaukee to New York. We talk about commercial photography, fashion and runway photography, working with models, finding clients, social media, New York Fashion Week, and the business behind creating images for today’s fashion industry.
He also discusses why moving to New York was an important business decision, how the city’s creative market changed his approach to photography, and what he has learned about building a creative career while staying focused on business.
