<p>In dieser Abschlussfolge unserer Fastenimpulse 2026 richten wir den Blick auf den Himmel. Wir sprechen darüber, was es bedeutet, in der vollkommenen Gemeinschaft mit Gott zu leben, erfüllt von seiner Liebe und vereint mit Christus und allen Menschen. Himmel ist keine ferne Vorstellung, sondern die endgültige Erfüllung unseres Lebens und unserer Sehnsucht. Eine Hoffnung, die schon jetzt beginnt – und in der neuen Schöpfung ihre Vollendung findet.</p>

<p>In dieser Folge fragen wir: Was bedeutet das Fegefeuer für uns heute? Ausgehend von biblischen Bildern wird deutlich, dass es weniger um einen Ort als um eine Begegnung geht – die verwandelnde Begegnung mit Christus. Diese „Reinigung“ ist ein Prozess der Liebe, der uns von Egoismus befreit und zur vollen Gemeinschaft mit Gott führt. So verstanden ist das Fegefeuer keine Angstbotschaft, sondern eine Hoffnung: die Chance, dass Gottes Gnade uns ganz vollendet.</p>

<p>In dieser Folge schauen wir auf die Entwicklung des Fegefeuers im Laufe der Kirchengeschichte. Ausgehend von der Frage, wie unsere grundlegende Entscheidung für Gott von Schwächen gereinigt wird, entfaltet sich die Idee eines Reinigungsprozesses über den Tod hinaus. Wir werfen einen Blick auf biblische Hinweise, frühe Kirchenväter und unterschiedliche Traditionen in Ost und West. Dabei wird deutlich: Das Fegefeuer ist weniger ein Ort als vielmehr eine Hoffnung auf Vollendung und Heilung.</p>
