Episode 7: "Let You Tell It"
On this episode of the FattyCakes Podcast, "Let You Tell It" is about telling your story and how you overcame those challenges/obstacles you've faced. We all have great stories to tell, but we don't tell anyone about the most difficult ones. On this episode we wanted to shed light on those stories that aren't so easy to tell. It's all about overcoming the things you thought you'd never be able to get out of. Sit and listen to Shana and Lee talk about why difficult stories are hard to tell and to some of their stories about overcoming. *Fatty was under the weather when recording this episode, so we invited one of our faves Lee (Selicia) onto the show to talk about overcoming!

Episode 6: “Lane Switch”
Sometimes, people just don't know when to switch lanes. On this episode of the FattyCakes Podcast, Fatty and Cakes discuss the importance of switching lanes and learning to get out of situations that no longer serve you. Now, that situation could be anything--a job, a friendship, a relationship, etc. It's important to take a step back and figure out what it is that you need to do or that someone else needs to do in order to switch lanes. Sometimes we have to switch lanes ourselves or tell others to switch lanes when it comes to our lives and our personal business. Take a deep dive into this episode and learn how to set some boundaries for yourself and others. Business Shoutouts: If you're a local in the Charlotte, NC area, @braidbyniz is killing it on the knotless braid trend and on all other braiding styles/techniques. If you're local in the Las Vegas, NV area, @ninznailedit is here for all your nail needs. She's currently deployed but will be back and taking appointments in May!
