What battles are you facing within your heart? On this Father’s Day, Pastor Jason invites us into a powerful reflection on the story of David and Goliath, emphasizing that the fiercest wars often rage not outside of us, but within. As he unfolds the tale from 1 Samuel 17, we learn about Goliath, a seemingly invincible enemy threatening David’s homeland—a reminder that we all face giants in our lives, such as fear, addiction, and despair. Jason passionately reveals that the key to overcoming these obstacles lies not in our own strength, but in our faith in God. By sharing his own journey of challenges and victories, he urges us to recognize our unique stories as both armor and weapons against life's battles. This message is about discerning our identity as children of God and surrendering to Jesus, our ultimate champion who fights for us and brings hope into our darkness. As you walk away, consider your story and embrace the courage to step into the game—because with God, your giant can fall. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with a message that could change your life; be inspired to listen or watch the sermon today!

Jesus > Old Covenant
This message was shared on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at First Christian Church in Wilmington, Illinois.
What holds you back from experiencing true freedom? In his latest sermon, Pastor explores how we often find ourselves shackled by the old covenants we cling to, highlighting that Jesus is greater than any limitations we face. Through the lens of Abram’s journey in Genesis, Pastor Jason illustrates how God invites us to step away from our comforts and surrender to a relationship built on trust. This divine covenant transcends mere laws; it's personal, transformative, and rooted in grace. By delving into the ancient rituals of covenant-making, Jason uncovers how God Himself, represented by a smoking fire pot, walks through the sacrifice, taking on the weight of our failures. This act symbolizes the grace offered to us through Jesus, who became the ultimate sacrifice. As Pastor calls us into a deeper relationship with God, he reminds us that true freedom isn't found in earthly possessions or societal approval but in a profound and personal connection with Christ. This message resonates deeply in our current lives, beckoning us to embrace the new hearts and minds promised in the New Covenant. Don’t miss this powerful exploration; tune in now to discover how Jesus' grace can redefine your life!

Jesus > Moses
This message was shared on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at First Christian Church in Wilmington, Illinois.
Pastor Jason shares his excitement about gathering with the congregation and emphasizes the importance of inviting Jesus into our lives. He compares the relationship between Moses and Jesus, highlighting that while Moses was a faithful servant, Jesus is the greater Son and the true builder of our faith. The sermon stresses that we often settle for temporary satisfaction, like cookies, instead of seeking the deeper fulfillment that only the "baker," or Jesus, can provide. Ultimately, he encourages the congregation to fix their thoughts on Jesus, support one another, and embrace their identity as sons and daughters of God rather than just servants.
