The writer of Hebrews gives us a powerful reminder that what we have is ours by the work of Jesus Christ alone, HE obtained our forgiveness by His own suffering in our place. HE purchased for us something beyond the realm of human understanding and human ability… HE Obtained what He then gave to us… eternal life, but since He is the One who first obtained our redemption it is HIS OWN POSESSION, He also is the only One who even CAN give it to us!

Once For All
The writer of Hebrews makes a statement here that we MUST think about carefully. He says that Jesus "entered the Most Holy Place once for all…" that is a profoundly important idea. That Jesus did something, accomplished something that would never need to be repeated, nor modified and that this thing that He did was for all… but it also raises some questions which must be addressed and those questions revolve around two words… ONCE and ALL

He Entered...
Jesus Christ entered into the Most Holy Place, and this is NOT speaking of the Holy of Holies in the earthly tabernacle, NOR of the Holiest Place of the temple… this speaks of Him entering into the very throne room of the Majesty on High and stepping before the actual seat of His Mercy!!
