Sie ist eine afghanische Menschenrechtsaktivistin und gründete die Kampagne #whereismyname. Heute lebt sie in Berlin und ist vorrangig auf Social Media weiterhin im Kampf für mehr Gerechtigkeit für die Menschen in Afghanistan aktiv - insbesondere für die Frauen. 2020 wurde sie von BBC für ihre Arbeit mit den 100 Women Awards ausgezeichnet. She is a an afghan human rights activist and founder of the #whereismyname campaign. At the moment she resides in Berlin and is continuing her fight for justice for Afghans - especially women - on social media. For her work, the BBC recognized her efforts by naming her at the 100 Women Awards. Bestandsaufnahme mit der Archivcrew des Lesbenarchivs Frankfurt
Im Podcast sprechen wir mit Jules und Katharina von der Archivcrew, der jüngeren Generation am Lesbenarchiv Frankfurt. Gegründet Anfang der 1990er Jahren in Frankfurt am Main, ist das Lesbenarchiv ein ehrenamtliches Archiv, dass die "verschwiegene, verschüttete, verfälschte Geschichte der Lesben, ihrer Lebensverhältnisse in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, die von ihnen geleistete Arbeit und das von ihnen erarbeitete Wissen" sichtbar machen und dokumentieren will (zit. nach Bieber/Feil/ /Mezes/Müller/Schleich, 2021, S. 224). Seit 2018 engagiert sich die Archivcrew als Kollektiv und jüngere Generation am Lesbenarchiv. Die Archivcrew beschäftigt sich derzeit mit dem Generationenwechsel und bemüht sich um Sichtbarkeit, Reorganisation, neue Formate und Erschließung neuer Zielgruppen. Mit Jules und Katharina sprechen wir über die Geschichte des Lesbenarchivs, über ihre Arbeit als Archivcrew und über den Generationenwechsel am Archiv. Es geht unter anderen um die (Un-)Sichtbarkeit des Lesbenarchivs und die weiterhin bestehende Notwendigkeit, lokale lesbische und queere Geschichte in autonomen Strukturen zu bewahren und zugänglich zu machen. Und die beiden teilen ihre Wünsche für die Zukunft der queeren Archivarbeit im Lesbenarchiv. Viel Spaß beim Anhören!
