Our spotlight series features interviews of film students at Swinburne and industry experts. Our first episode focuses on Tabitha Hilbig. Tabitha has already completed two certificates and is now studying a Diploma of Film and TV, all at Swinburne. Tabitha is one of the 3 student reps of her class, the dux for her editing unit in semester one, and was supposed to be a volunteer at the Swinburne open day, as well as at MIFF, however, covid prevented both those events. For the last 5 years, she has photographed and video graphed for professional theatre companies, at opening nights, rehearsals, and media events through a theatre journalism website, and has more recently started to conduct her own interviews.
She is currently producing the short dramedy film Work It Out which follows a breakup between a newly accepted law student, and an ostentatious poet. @work.it.out_official
