《Turn On The Lights》是Kim Yang 楊予菁 凝聚多年心血的首張正式專輯。紀錄了她身為移民女性、神經多樣性者以及面對心理健康挑戰的勇氣。由 Louis Montgomery 製作，橫跨墨爾本與坎培拉等多地合作，譜出極具私密感且層次豐富的聲響。
專輯融合了 Indie-folk 與電影感靈魂樂，透過中英雙語，將不安與迷惘轉化為遼闊而溫暖的風景。這不只是 Kim Yang 對自身本質的凝視，更是一場邀請大眾走出陰影、擁抱光芒的療癒旅途。
🎼〈All Good When I’m With You〉
輕快的烏克麗麗、鮮明的鋼琴和電影感弦樂，以及即興加入的古箏，共同營造出了溫暖的文化氛圍；多層次的人聲與和聲，也傳達著我希望帶來喜悅與療癒的初衷。
🎼〈Different And I Like It〉
這首歌是專輯中唯一一首全中文創作。歌曲主題圍繞移民經驗，描寫身處少數、與主流社會保持距離的感受。這首歌與加拿大音樂人 Tennyson King 共同創作，我們從彼此的移民記憶出發，回溯在加拿大、澳洲與德國等地的生活經驗與情緒。錄音版本帶有一點俏皮感，其中加入一段口白，表達即使感受到格格不入或身處邊緣，也應學會繼續前行，用自己的方式享受生活。
編曲部分，我邀請 Emma Kelly 擔任小提琴，Clarissa Goh 擔任大提琴，共同為作品增添溫柔而層次豐富的弦樂質地。
