Her neighbour, Brooke Crews, came down to ask Savanna to help her with a sewing project, which Savanna agreed to. Season 1, Episode 5: The Murder of Kathaleena Draper
When 17 year old Kathaleena Draper found out she was pregnant, she wasn’t sure what to do. She and the father were both young, and while he was supportive, her relationship with her mother was strained at the best of times. So when her Aunt Erin offered to care for her during the pregnancy, and adopt the baby once it was born, Kathleena thought she'd found a good solution As her pregnancy progressed, Kathaleena started having second thoughts about the adoption and wondered if she could raise the baby herself. She could get a part time job to support them, she thought she could make it work. When she raised this possibility with her aunt, Erin was enraged and told Kathaleena that she couldn’t stay there any longer and that she would take her home to her mother. Kathaleena never made it home and what transpired was described by a judge as the most brutal crime he had made a judgement on in his 14 years in the job.

Hosted by Erica Kelley
Written by Jessica Ann
Researched by Jessica Ann and Kim Fritz
Audio Engineering by Chaesare Gray of Gray Multimedia
Produced by Haley Gray
Original Graphic Art by Coley Horner
Original Music by Chaesare Gray of Gray Multimedia

You can find us at:
http://fetalabductionpod.com/
https://www.facebook.com/fetalabductionpod
https://twitter.com/fetalabductpod
https://www.instagram.com/fetalabductionpod/

Link to sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WfJGFVbVI8VdR3lBvgA-1MDl2cNhjhUozUHI2lcruT0/edit?usp=sharing

Season 1, Episode 4: The Murder of Margarita Flores
In 1996, Josefina Sonya Hernandez sat in a courtroom, during a murder trial, and testified. The victim, Peggy Tucker, was a sex worker who was found dead behind Josefina’s home, and Keith Zon Doolin had been arrested and charged with her murder, another murder and multiple attempted murders. She told the court everything she saw and heard the night of September 18th, 1995. She told the court that she watched TV, she went to bed around 11:30, and she struggled to sleep in the humid, Central California heat. She told the court that, just before midnight, she heard dogs barking and then, a few minutes later, a gun shot followed by a woman's scream. She didn’t think much of the event and didn’t call the police. She never dreamed that, a year later, she would wind up in court as a key witness in a serial killers murder trial. She also never dreamed that, five years later, she would be back in a courtroom testifying at another murder trial. But, this time, she was testifying in her own defence as she stood trial for the murder of Margarita Flores.

Hosted by Erica Kelley
Written by Jessica Ann
Researched by Jessica Ann and Kim Fritz
Audio Engineering by Chaesare Gray of Gray Multimedia
Produced by Haley Gray
Original Graphic Art by Coley Horner
Original Music by Chaesare Gray of Gray Multimedia

You can find us at:
http://fetalabductionpod.com/
https://www.facebook.com/fetalabductionpod
https://twitter.com/fetalabductpod
https://www.instagram.com/fetalabductionpod/

Link to sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yOlEBd0Wakluy8BfotIHvn1vL52iAInu2B9U_6qD1Bc/edit?usp=sharing
