In this episode, I talk about the book Remnants of a Separation by Aanchal Malhotra. She has tried to narrate the stories of partition through material memory.

This book has helped me reviving the memories of my grandparents and made them more pristine. Now I can feel how horrific they must have had felt while crossing to this side of the border after partition.

And I was teaching partition to Students for 4 years but after reading this book I can proudly say that my lecture on the partition is never going to be the same again. It will be more humanistic, emotional, sentimental.
