We ditch our old careers as man nurse and pool guy and head after our dreams of crafting wood things and fighting in the UFC. Better to die trying, than to never go for it. Join us as we fail our way to success!
Ep.8 - Fffince is now a Firefighter; Podcasts resume
Vince dropped 2 swear words in this podcast, we apologize. Not the most kid-friendly material either as we talked about my shaved b-hole enhancing fart sounds. We try to make this production something our kids can listen to and be proud of - but rather than edit it, we will label it appropriately and try to be better next time. I feel that is more honest. The real news is that Vince is a firefighter now! He's moving along nicely. Congrats bro. Also we are discovering a huge key to success is just doing the gritty stupid insanely hard work, no matter how difficult. A sane person quits this process, because nobody would willingly choose to put themselves through that mess. So find another way to force yourself through it or don't be sane.

Ep.7 - Fffince resigns from nursing
Vince quit his job! Our goal since starting this podcast has been to let go of our current 9-5 jobs and go after our dreams. Vince unexpectedly was able resign sooner that he thought in an unexpected way. Also Kyle's first competition is tomorrow, despite knowing zero about grappling. Let's gooooo!

Ep. 6 Make room for the new dream
Kyle talks about throwing out pool stuff in his garage as being mentally similar to throwing out the hopes for a successful pool business and accepting defeat. This allows more room for the new dream of fighting and is a healthy step. Vince is absent. Dan farts.

Ep. 5 A good chat about things

Ep.4 - I'm not sure
Originally recorded on July 9, 2021. Gotta be honest, I'm so tired right now. This baby will not let anyone sleep around here. I have no idea what this podcast was about and I'm posting it anyway. You can figure it out yourself. Or not. It's up to you. A choose your own adventure, if you will. Remember those? Those were funny books. If you did it right, you could "finish" the book in 3 pages. Super easy read.

Ep.3 - Kyle gets kinda bothered
Originally recorded on June 18, 2021. Sorry for the late upload - I had a baby, and other excuses. Dan Hayes joins us for this one. In this episode Kyle gets frustrated because he can't yet carve a path to his dreams. Kyle's friends try to offer solutions even though they have zero experience in accomplishing their own dreams, which only frustrates Kyle further. Still a good time tho.

Ep.2 - We're failing and learning.
We talk about how it went this last month trying to hit our goals and what we learned from it. Specifically, deadlines force us through a process we might otherwise procrastinate and we love the pressure they create. Even though it can end up as a failure temporarily, learning happens and progress is made.

Ep.1 - Ready or not, let's do this.
Vince and Kyle begin their journey. We're not exactly sure how to get there, but we know where we want to end up. We also know that there is no more time to sit around and wait. So we start our podcast today to get things moving. It's go time.
