"True evangelism requires love." Beth uses the life of Philip the evangelist in Acts 8, to demonstrate both the trials and the harvest of evangelism.
The Problem of Disqualification: We often disqualify ourselves. However, God positions us intentionally, because He knows who we are best-placed to reach; and the Holy Spirit is a curator of moments.
How to evangelise to those around us:
1.) Be obedient: follow God’s prompting when He gives it to you.
2.) Be ready: the moment may be only quick and fleeting, so need to be ready to give out at any time.
3.) Be patient: so many of our interactions may feel insignificant and patient work may not look fruitful immediately, but it is about sowing seeds that we may never even see the fruit of. Instead, it is all about God’s glory.
4.) Be love.
Ephesians 4:11; Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:26-39; John 10:14; 1 Corinthians 3:6; Acts 16:14; 1 Peter 3:15; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

What's in a Name? – Jeremiah Booth – 2026-09-20
It is so easy to get caught up with going down a specific path; attempting to take control of everything in our lives and being defined by said path. Jesus wants to transform our identity and give us a new name. Listen, as visiting speaker (and Pastor Joseph's former youth pastor) Jeremiah Booth, explores this concept through the passages in Genesis that look at Isaac and his two sons Jacob & Esau. During which, he emphasises these three main points:
1.) Your limp is your landmark.
2.) Your grip must slip.
3.) Your past does not define your future.
Genesis 25:23-34; Genesis 27:32-36; Genesis 32:22-31; Romans 8; Psalms 103:10-13; 2 Corinthians 6:2; Galatians 3:27; 1 John 1:9
