S2, Ep 2: Practicing His Presence in Uncertainty
In this episode of Practicing His Presence, we dive into what it means to seek God in seasons of uncertainty. Tricia shares her personal journey of learning to trust God's sovereignty when circumstances feel out of control. She reflects on moments where she felt shaken by the unknown and how surrendering in worship—sometimes even through physical postures like kneeling or laying prostrate—helped her experience God's peace.
We explore the tension of living in a world that craves instant answers, yet walking with Jesus often requires sitting in the unknown, trusting that He is in control. Tricia shares how she visualizes God's throne and experiences His presence as a steadying force in her life.
We also discuss the significance of spiritual “altars” or landmarks—places where God has met us in the past as a reminder of His faithfulness. Whether it’s a bridge, a prayer garden, or even a parking lot, these moments become anchors for our faith.
For anyone struggling with uncertainty, this episode offers encouragement: God is the one constant in an ever-changing world. When you don’t know what to do, simply come to His feet—He will meet you there.

Through God's gentle prompting, she began reclaiming her voice and rediscovering the dreams He planted within her heart. Tricia discusses the tension between dreaming big and being present in the current season, emphasizing the importance of discerning whether restlessness is a holy discontent leading to new steps or simply discontentment requiring surrender. They encourage listeners to bring their dreams before God and seek His guidance, recognizing that obedience in dreaming with Him can transform lives and impact others in profound ways. Together, they will inspire you to rekindle your dreams with God, reminding you that every “yes” to Him holds eternal significance and that dreaming with Him is an act of faith, obedience, and courage.
