The Amazing Digital Circus ist aktuell eine der erfolgreichsten Webserien auf YouTube und erzählt die Geschichte von fünf Menschen, die von einer KI in einer virtuellen Welt gefangen gehalten werden. Dort müssen sie immer wieder neue "Adventures" im Videospiel-Stil bestreiten. Apropos Videospiele: Weil die Serie nur so vor Anspielungen auf bekannte Games und deren Ästhetik strotzt, nutzen Max und Isabella die Gelegenheit, ausgiebig über ihr gemeinsames Lieblingsthema zu plaudern – was die Folge hier und da vielleicht etwas länger werden lässt. Zwei Ikonen (fast) des gleichen Ausmaßes. Unser Ehrengast und ehemaliges Filmjoker-Mitglied Raul findet sich nämlich mit Tobit zusammen, um über alte Zeiten zu sinnieren. Und "nebenbei" steht ein Mann im Fokus, den beide anschmachten: Nicolas (fucking) Cage. Dank des Releases von SPIDER-NOIR werden 8 Spielfilme diskutiert und Thesen aufgestellt, ob der Meister des Wahnsinns in der Lage ist, die Spinne aus der Nachbarschaft zu verkörpern. Welches Ergebnis erzielt wird, das wissen nur jene, die sich fast 3 Stunden berieseln lassen können.

Es ist Sommer. Es ist heiß. Doch die Kinos kühl und die Blockbuster da. Anais und Lucas besprechen in dieser Folge die beiden aktuellen Sommer-Blockbuster: SUPERGIRL mit Milly Alcock in der Hauptrolle, welcher ein direkter Anschluss an den letztjährigen SUPERMAN bildet und MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE mit Nicholas Glatzitine. Zudem wird weit in die Vergangenheit geschaut: sämtliche Superman und Supergirl Ableger werden zum Vergleich herangezogen sowie die erste Live-Action Verfilmung von He-Man aus den 80ern.
