A deep dive into Religion, Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Culture, and Myself in an attempt to assess who/what God is, and where I fit into the equation. Insofar as is possible at least. A daunting task given the expansive breadth of the subject matter. I hope I'm up to the task.
My study of Judaism begins with an English translation of the Tanakh (the Jewish Bible). I’m not making an audio book so expect some stuttering, stammering, and mispronunciations. Reading the Jewish Bible! Genesis: 1-10

The Quran: in English and in Order Chapters 41-45
This is the 3rd installment of my reading the Quran / Qur'an / Koran in chronological order (the order the suras were revealed to Muhammad). After trying multiple english translations I found that I couldn't follow it well without the context that you get with it in proper order. I found an outstanding translation given in the order of revelation. I HIGHLY recommend Jason Criss Howk's The Qur'an: A Chronological Modern English Interpretation for both those who are unfamiliar with Islam, and for Muslims who don't speak Arabic so they can read the words for themselves. Why I believe in Creation and Intelligent Design
In this episode I lay out the thought process that convinced me that all that exists in this universe, and how it has evolved, is the product of an intelligence and done with intent. Finding my God is NOT easy!
I started this with the intention of figuring out who, or what, God is to the best of my ability. I knew it was ALOT to ask of myself. A few days ago the reality of the burden of that big ask hit home. But I still believe the "juice is worth the squeeze" as the saying goes. First time reading The Bible! Commenting as I go. Genesis 1 to 4.
Today I started The Bible. The first of MANY sessions of reading out loud and evaluating the text as I go. Hopefully some grace will be given on my falterings as I haven't "read aloud" in many many years, and first time pronunciation of some names, places, etc is rough....
