A show about great conversations over coffee and following your dreams, creating community and filling your life with people that will encourage your unique vision and dreams.
Small businesses do not win by being the fastest or the biggest. They win by creating the kind of place people actually want to come back to—and this conversation shows exactly how that happens. Kerstyn sits down with TJ from Radio Bismarck Mandan for a candid, energetic conversation about what it really takes to build a local coffee shop that customers love, employees grow in, and a community keeps showing up for. From the shift in how Gen Z shops to the tension between convenience, quality, and sustainability, this episode explores the real decisions behind building a business that wants to offer more than transactions.
Kerstyn and TJ also discuss why small businesses can adapt in ways national chains cannot, how word of mouth becomes a hiring engine, and why treating customers like guests changes everything. This episode is for anyone who believes community still matters. If you want a behind-the-scenes look at why supporting local is really an investment in the place you live—this episode is for you.

Tracy's Sanctuary House - Providing A Place
In this episode, Dina sits down with Kelsey Zottnick, Executive Director of Tracy's Sanctuary House -- a non-profit organization located in the heart of Bismarck, ND. It was founded in 2005 and provides a one-of-a-kind, much-needed service to the community.
Tracy's Sanctuary House is named after Kelsey's mom. On August 9, 2004, over 200 miles from home, Kelsey's mom and dad, her 11-year-old sister, and her boyfriend (now husband) were returning from dropping Kelsey off at college when their vehicle rolled. Kelsey's mom, Tracy, did not survive. So far from home, the family needed a sanctuary apart from the hospital for family and friends to gather, grieve and process all that had happened – but there was no such place.
The family’s mission was to create one. In 2005, they made their vision come to life – a temporary home for families who find themselves in similar situations as Kelsey's family did in 2004.
Watch this inspiring interview of turning tragedy into inspiration to create a needed service that has helped so many families across our state and beyond in the past 20 years. And, learn even more about Tracy's Sanctuary House at www.tracyssanctuary.com
