A podcast by movie fans who have all known each other since they were kids growing up in the same neighborhood. Over 40 years! And now they get together to talk about some of their favorite (and some of the greatest) movies of all time. So sit back, enjoy a drink with them, and listen as they talk about some fine, fine movies...
It's been said that in space, no one can hear you scream. When you're a movie podcast, not being heard sound like torture. Luckily, you're (probably, because you never know) not in space right now - which means you're lucky enough to get to hear Dave, Chris, and Mikey kick-off another year of SPOOKY SEASON (https://fansnotexperts.com/category/finemovies/spooky/) as they take on the 1979 Ridley Scott sci-fi horror classic, Alien (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078748/).
And yes, this is the first time the boys have done the sequel to a movie (https://fansnotexperts.com/finemovies/2023/aliens/) before doing the original...

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
It's always good when a movie about fine movies does one of the finest films of all time. Yes, Chris, David and Mikey are back and all in agreement that the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial lives up to the "classic" description and is still as relevant and beloved as ever.
Does that mean Dave took it so seriously that he stayed home to record? Well, let's not go too far.

Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (2025)
The boys are back to talk about a comedic duo that is fairly new to all of them, Nirvanna the Band! Chris brought this one to the show, but now he, Mikey and Dave are obsessed with 2025 time-traveling mockumentary, Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35522483/), and the television series that preceded it. It truly has taken up the majority of their text chain. And for good reason.
Both the movie and the show are on Hulu right now and it probably doesn't even matter which order you watch them in. Either way - it's fantastic. So stop sneaking around and go check it out - and then listen to these guys gush over this surprising little Canadian masterpiece.
