OPH:n rahoittaman FinEduAI-hankkeen tavoitteena on ollut tutustuttaa lukiot käsitteeseen tekoäly ja sen eri muotoihin, sekä arvioida miten tekoäly voitaisiin tuoda oppimisen tueksi. Hankkeessa on pyritty selvittämään, miten tekoäly muokkautuu oppijan yksilöllisiin tarpeisiin ja oppimispolkuihin muun muassa hyödyntämällä ja testaamalla jo valmiita tekoälysovelluksia kuten Siri, Alexa, älykkäät digitaaliset oppimisympäristöt ja erilaiset chatbotit. Hankkeessa on tehty yhteistyötä erilaisten tahojen kanssa, pohdittu tekoälyn etiikkaa ja päästy jopa luomaan oma, tekoälyä hyödyntävä kahviskanneri.
