Ep.3 - WarPlan 44 & Co Cdr
<p>In this episode Maj Nate "Kiwi" Jaenichen and Tim Barrick co-host a discussion on Marine Corps University's upcoming Fall 2024 wargaming tournaments that are hosted in the University's Wargaming Cloud. The tournaments run in parallel from September through November and are open to all Marines, other US joint service personnel, and military schools from across allies and partners. Top Tactics 24 focuses on infantry company tactics on a modern battlefield setting, including loitering munitions. This individual tournament runs in 3 rounds. WarPlan 44 focuses on the 1944 campaigns in World War 2's European Theater with players fighting the Breakout from Normandy, Market Garden and Bagration. WarPlan 44 is a team play tournament with individual scores aggregated for the team score. </p> <p>For tournament registration, contact Marine Corps University's Wargaming Director, Tim Barrick at timothy.barrick@usmcu.edu. Episode 2 - Top Tactics 24 Invitational Tournament
<p>In this episode, we discuss the Top Tactics 24 Invitational Wargaming Tournament that immerses players in company and battalion level tactics. The Top Tactics 24 tournament is a military only competition hosted by Marine Corps University in our Wargaming Cloud and is open to the US joint force, allies and partners. Players play in paired matches in two scenarios in Company Commander Modern and two scenarios in Flashpoint Campaigns.</p>

<p>This is the first episode of the Fire and Maneuver podcast from Marine Corps University's Wargaming Directorate. This podcast is dedicated to all things Wargaming.</p> <p>In this episode we interview LtCol Anthony Robb and LtCol Darren Hart. Both are from the Canadian Army and are from the winning team in Marine Corps University's Fight Club competition focused on the Southern Italy campaign and fought in the WarPlan computer game from Matrix Games.</p>
