Hello! My name is James Kerr, I'm a tattoo artist and I am here to talk about trauma and healing, spirituality and science, life and death. I will be doing solo chats as well as bringing on guests from the tattoo industry, my friends, family, clients, and coaches. People from all walks of life! My intention with this show is essentially to show that it is safe to tell our stories and every story is of tremendous importance. They connect us to each other, and these connections are what can start us on the path back to ourselves.

What a ride season 2 was! I felt compelled to sort of wrap up the story and talk about how I got out of that situation and luckily survived it. Also, I talk about my main takeaways and lessons learned both at the time and looking back at it.music written and produced by James Kerrwww.captainkerrart.com

Showing the Scars | 6 of 6
(Originally aired July 9, 2025)
After taking a long break, I finally return! In this 6 part series, I have a very deep and emotional conversation with my sister Olivia, where we talk about everything that happened to us when we were children growing up in Hoopa, a Native American Reservation in very rural Northern California. This series is us showing all of our scars and bringing light to the darkness that we have kept hidden for most of our lives. Our hope with these episodes is that someone who needs to hear this does, and learns that they are not alone. One of the coaches I follow said recently in an instagram post, “don’t show your wounds, show your scars.” You can show your wounds safely to people really close to you, like therapists and really close friends or family. Showing your scars is something to brag about, showing how you healed. I stole this and made it the title for this series.all music written and produced by James Kerrcaptainkerrart.com
