Podcast Overview

Fireside Folktales was created by Dallas Hawthorn as a way to celebrate and create artwork. Whether a show takes one year or five years, the end result and the passion involved in the project is all that matters to him. Season One, Whispering, is a retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone, as told through the perspective of the soon-to-be Queen of the Dead. Season Two is a performance of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream; an experience filled to the brim with music, mischief, magic, and stereo sound design.
