Reconciliation with God isn't something you earn. It was purchased. Colossians 1:19-20 explains what that cost and why it changes everything. There's a Japanese art form called kintsugi where broken pottery is repaired with gold dust. The bowl doesn't hide its cracks. They gleam. That image runs through this whole sermon because it's exactly what God does with what sin shattered. He doesn't paper over the damage. He fills it.This message works through Colossians 1:19-20 and three things Paul lays out: the fullness of God dwells completely in Christ, peace with God was made by the blood of the cross and can't be earned or maintained by us, and the scope of that reconciliation reaches every broken thing, on earth and in heaven. If you've been living like peace with God is something you have to keep negotiating for, or you're carrying damage you believe is too far gone to be restored, this is the passage for you.

Have you ever felt too far gone to be found? Maybe you've been away from church for years and assume the door is closed. Maybe you're sitting in the pew every week still feeling like a fraud, certain that if God really knew everything about you, He'd stop looking. In this message, we look at 2 Corinthians 5:19 and the truth that God does not wait at a distance for wanderers to find their own way home. He moves first. He goes looking. And when He finds us, He does not hold the wandering against us.If you've never trusted Christ, the invitation today is simple: stop trying to find your own way back. Let the Father who is already running toward you catch up to you today.

We just celebrated 250 years of American independence, a declaration signed with ink and sealed with wax. But there's a distance no revolution could ever close: the gap between a human heart and a holy God.In this message, we look at Colossians 1:21-22 and discover that God didn't wait for us to fix ourselves before reconciling us to Himself. He closed the distance through the real body and real death of Jesus Christ, so that we could be presented holy, blameless, and above reproach before Him.If you've ever felt far from God, wondered if you've done too much to be forgiven, or carried old labels like failure, shame, or addiction, this message is for you.
