Romans 9.30-10.13 | Stumbling Stone or Living Stone? | Jeremy Cobb (10.11.2026)
Are you trying to earn your way to God or trusting the One who made a way?
In this message from Romans 9 and 10, we confront the futility of law-based righteousness and discover the freedom of faith in Jesus. Religious effort, moral performace, and even sincere zeal cannot save us. Only the Messiah Jesus can.
Paul shows that Jesus is the goal and fulfillment of the law--the substitionary sacrifice who offers once-for-all forgiveness. To some, He is a stumbling stone. To all who believe, He is the living foundation of a transformed life.
Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have been following Jesus for years, this is a powerful call to stop striving in human strength and start trusting in Jesus.

Romans 9 | The Potter and the Clay | Jeremy Cobb (10.4.2026)
In Romans 9.1-29, Paul wrestles with a deeply personal question: If so many Jewish people have not recognized Jesus as Messiah, has God's Word failed? With genuine sorrow for his people, Paul points to the unchanging faithfulness of God.
This message explores salvation by grace through faith, Israe's unique blessings and ongoing place in God's purposes, the distinction between spiritual heritage and personal trust in the Messiah, and God's preservation of a believing remnant. We also consider the difficult but hope filled themes of God's sovereignty, mercy, justice, human responsibility, and the Potter's right over the clay.

Romans | Israel and the Faithfulness of God | Jeremy Cobb (9.27.2026)
How should followers of Jesus understand God's heart and purposes for the Jewish people and why does it matter today?
This opening episode launches a new series exploring Israel's place in the biblical story: past, present, and future. While sincere Christians hold differing views on these these questions, our aim is to listen carefully to the whole counsel of God's Word.
Together, we will study these key passages in Paul's letter to Rome, seeing how the contribute to his overall argument. As we do so, we will ask: How can we reflect GOd's heart toward the Jewish people in a divided culture today?
