About First Gen Musings

Creational Musings is a podcast for those who know they're here to create more than just success—you are here to (re)create yourself, your relationships, your work, and your legacy. Hosted by Ash Johns—transformational coach, writer, speaker, and advisor on feminine/masculine embodied power, ancestral healing, and expansive leadership—this show explores the messy, miraculous process of creation. Each episode weaves together storytelling, spiritual insight, and lived experience to illuminate how we unlearn survival patterns, access truth, and evolve our operating systems around love, power, and identity. From ancestral healing to feminine and masculine restoration, from wealth and business to union and legacy, Creational Musings invites you into the deeper conversation: what does it mean to live as a creator, not just a consumer of life? Whether you’re in the midst of personal transformation, building a conscious business, or reimagining relationships, you’ll find guidance, reflection, and devotion here. So much more than simply manifesting things—Ash's work is about creating a whole new way of being rooted in freedom, truth, abundance, and devotion. www.ashinspires.com www.instagram.com/ashinspires

So Who Are You Going to BE, Ash?

Who are you being—really? In this episode, I take you into one of the deepest questions of my life, one that cracked me open time and time again, and forced a complete reckoning with identity, belief, faith, and embodiment. I share what happens when everything you thought you knew about yourself dissolves, when your past no longer anchors you, and when knowing something intellectually is no longer enough. This is a raw conversation about transformation that brings you to your knees, the gap between knowledge and embodiment, and what becomes possible when you surrender, ask for divine intervention, and choose to live from your true being—unapologetically and free. In this episode, I share: The question that dismantled my identity: Who am I being right now? What real transformation feels like when everything collapses The danger of living from your past instead of your becoming The gap between what you “know” and how you’re actually being Why identity work can’t be done alone—and needs mirrors How surrender, faith, and conviction created literal miracles Self-liberation, feminine reclamation, and choosing to live unapologetically as who you are here to be

Yo, I Can’t Hold Water: I Have Secrets to Tell…

I told you I was overhauling my life… and then I disappeared. In this episode, I’m back in a completely new operating system, a new location, and a new way of being—and I’m finally sharing what’s really been happening behind the scenes. This is the quiet beginning of a mini-season and a whispered tell-all for those of you who stayed subscribed while I was MIA. As we close out a shattering, transformative 2025 and prepare to step into what’s next, I open up about identity collapse, feminine embodiment, radical responsibility, and why the biggest shifts in my life didn’t come from doing anything at all. In this episode, I share: What I actually mean when I say “the feminine” (and what it is not) Why 2025 dismantled me—and how it also became the softest place to land The massive life restructuring that happened in the last 42 days The identity death and rebirth cycle that began in 2022 Why I didn’t do anything to create this shift—and why that matters Moving out of the “doing era” and into embodied coherence Radical responsibility, surrender, faith, and becoming more unapologetically you

Embracing the Messy Creative Process (I'm baaaaack!)

In this reawakening of Creational Musings, Ash returns after a year away to share what’s been stirring beneath the surface: the messy, uncontrollable, and miraculous process of creation. From ancestral healing to feminine reclamation, her journey has now arrived at a threshold — a complete overhaul of the old operating system of pressure and control, into a new way of being rooted in devotion, embodiment, and trust. This episode sets the stage for a season exploring unlearning, identity evolution, and radical creation. Ash also leaves listeners with a powerful reflection.
