EP#51 - The Return/Introducing our new Host | Keyukemi Ubi & Jewel Owolana

With 50 episodes and over 5,000 downloads, Season One was a hit, We got several online commendations from listeners telling us how the episodes helped them prepare for and pass Bar Finals. As Law School resumes for another session with Bar Part Two students, the podcast returns for Season Two with an expanded focus. Beyond just academic content, this season will be touching on life after law school as we talk to lawyers (practising/non-practising) on the life in and outside of the Bar. EP#50 - After Law School: Life in and out of the Bar

We started this journey June 1st, 2020, and like all good things, the show must end...at least for now. Bar Finals are behind you, and the future awaits. For our last episode this season, we interviewed Omolabake Adetunmbi, a lawyer who went down this road a long time ago. Called to the Bar in 1989, she has worn many hats over her lifetime, as a serial entrepreneur, a mediator, a realtor, and the founder of a premier legal outfitter in Nigeria, in 2000, and an author. The discussion covers her inspiration for founding Legal City, her journey as a law student, while juggling motherhood the importance of support networks, her first experience in a criminal trial why she left legal practice her book on the ethics of the legal profession. working towards specialization PS: We recorded this episode before the start of Bar Finals, hence the reference to the Bar exams at the end
