Expectations VS Reality

EXPECTATIONS VS REALITY

The entire episodes talk about how we as consumers often want quick fixes and don't understand the reasons why we need to put in effort and consistency for results to show. Without pure consistency and of course doing the right thing, no matter how much of what we do will not be beneficial to you.

It is important to note that the allied health professionals are there for a reason. They are around so as to help you alleviate issues ranging from physical, mental, nutritional, psychological etc. The list goes on. Therefore, why would we be reliant on Google as our answer if we are unsure how to fix these problems. Remember in the perspective of health and wellness.

We need to stop comparing ourselves to social media before/after, how much weight someone has lost, how people manage their stress etc. Everyone is uniquely different, and therefore takes understanding this to be able to help you. Without a clear path to breaking down this issues and finding root causes, we will often either be stuck or reverse back into our old self or bounce back even harder.

Find us on Instagram:

The Posture Lab - https://www.instagram.com/theposturelab.sg/

Emile - https://www.instagram.com/emiledumont/

FACEBOOK

https://www.facebook.com/theposturelab.sg/

EMAIL

For business enquiries, email us directly at hello@theposturelab.sg

VISIT OUR WEBSITE

http://theposturelab.sg/

ADDRESS

31a Kreta Ayer Road

Singapore 088998

Disclaimer: All videos were recorded, edited and produced by The Posture Lab.

Hosted on Acast. Warming Up in Dance

Often times a very touchy and debatable topic. We often hear many dance teachers saying they know what they are doing so don't teach me but yet we see so much injuries occurring due to warm ups not being sufficient or effective for the dancers.

This episode is a sharing for our dance listeners that need to know this. Warming up doesn't mean holding a few stretches and get right onto the dance floor and begin dancing. There is a method to the madness in warming up and emphasis should be placed on it.

Have a listen to this episode and do share it with your friends!

Find us on Instagram:

The Posture Lab - https://www.instagram.com/theposturelab.sg/

Emile - https://www.instagram.com/emiledumont/

FACEBOOK

https://www.facebook.com/theposturelab.sg/

EMAIL

For business enquiries, email us directly at hello@theposturelab.sg

VISIT OUR WEBSITE

http://theposturelab.sg/

ADDRESS

31a Kreta Ayer Road

Singapore 088998

Disclaimer: All videos were recorded, edited and produced by The Posture Lab.

Hosted on Acast. 4 Years On!

HOW AFRAID ARE YOU OF SHARING ABOUT FAILURE & LESSONS?

Perhaps, this podcast will help you to be more motivated to fail and learn. I (Emile) has had his fair share of failures and lessons throughout the 4 years of running a fitness and wellness business. While, to some it may look like a dying businesses or the entirety of the industry seems to be focused on the hyped up version of fitness. There are many opportunities if we look clearly enough but before we do that, how sure are we about our own business?

Do we know our vision clearly?

Why are we starting this business for?

Is the business a Founder oriented business?

Have we experienced failures before?

Many more questions. But through that, we begin to see the true growth potential because without failing we don't learn. Without learning, we don't have new ideas or better ways of doing things. Thus, I dare you to go out and do it and learn to fail to succeed!

Find us on Instagram:

The Posture Lab - https://www.instagram.com/theposturelab.sg/

Emile - https://www.instagram.com/emiledumont/

FACEBOOK

https://www.facebook.com/theposturelab.sg/

EMAIL

For business enquiries, email us directly at hello@theposturelab.sg

VISIT OUR WEBSITE

http://theposturelab.sg/

ADDRESS

SCAPE, 2 Orchard Link #02-15 (MOVING SOON)

Singapore 237978

Disclaimer: All videos were recorded, edited and produced by The Posture Lab.

Hosted on Acast.
