Strong Body. Strong Mind Featuring Robert Fragoso , Licensed Therapist
Episode 30: Strong Body. Strong Mind.
In this episode, I sit down with Robert Fragoso, licensed therapist to have a real conversation about mental health and how deeply it connects to our physical health.
We talk about self esteem, anxiety, worrying about what other people think, social media, body image, and the pressure we put on ourselves to constantly look better.
I also open up about my own experiences as a competitive bodybuilder and the struggles I faced with body dysmorphia and never feeling like I was big enough, muscular enough, or good enough, even when I was in the best shape of my life.
Why do we constantly compare ourselves to others? Why is it so difficult to feel satisfied with ourselves? And how do we learn to separate our self worth from the way we look?
We also talk about motivation, goal setting, discipline, emotional resilience, overcoming adversity, work life balance, and the importance of being healthy role models for our children.
Taking care of your body is important, but we cannot forget to take care of our mind.
True health is about becoming stronger from the inside out.
If you're ready for a true change for yourself , and you want to take that first step you can get started today with your physical health which directly impacts your mental health .
