God’s Math Multiplies | Multiply | October 11th, 2026
This Sunday is Week 3, and we’re looking at the second most popular miracle Jesus ever did: the feeding of thousands with five loaves of bread and two fish. This miracle shows up in all four Gospels. It is rich with meaning and with lessons for us as individuals and as a church family—lessons about dependency, sacrifice, and God’s math.
The disciples almost missed what Jesus was doing. They actually would have missed it on their own, but Jesus kept pressing them with questions. And as a church, we can miss the miracle where, in the middle of our sacrifice, God can multiply.
We’ll talk about the faith of the unnamed boy who gave up his lunch, his parents who had to trust that their son would walk in the will of God and not stop him, and how, when a lot of people want to be fed, it’s not a bad thing. It’s actually a cool opportunity for God to show off and supply more than enough to draw people to Himself.
Because, church, even if we have little, it is always enough in the hands of Jesus.
If you read this story and don’t dig deep, you’ll miss the bigger picture. You really need to understand the timeline and the entire chapter of John 6. Trust me, Jesus wasn’t just trying to fill bellies; He was trying to fill heaven. They wanted Jesus to be king, and He would be their King, but not their physical one. We all want Jesus for personal gain at times.
Every one of us is sitting in someone’s sacrifice. And for a lot of us, it’s just our turn. It’s your turn to go, serve, or give.
What stories of faith will you tell your kids and grandkids? Not for fame or to be remembered, but to tell them how you gave Jesus what you had and how He multiplied it more than you could ever imagine.

An Invitation to Risk | Multiply | October 4th, 2026
Risk is required when we go with God.
Church family, we’re in week 2 of our new series called Multiply. This week we’re talking about what it means to take a “risk” for God. We will be in Joshua chapter 1, looking at when God called Joshua to lead the people into the Promised Land. There are so many good lessons for us as a church in this story and passage.
Most people today are prone to playing it safe, letting others “go” first. See who else is coming. It seems that less and less people are willing to risk something for God. It might “go” bad. You “could” run out of money. Who else is coming? We hear a lot of people saying, “I’m trying to discern God’s voice.” It appears to be about feelings, friends, and logic… and that, church, we have backwards.
The goal for our time will be simply to ask you to ask God what He wants you to do and then take the risk, whatever that means for you. Joshua was definitely scared, insecure, and needed affirmation. Most of us are like Joshua. There are some great leadership lessons, challenges for us to obey, and reminders for us to stay under the Book! It will ultimately lead me to ask a question: “What would you attempt for God if you knew He was with you?”
Joshua stepped up and led the people. For us, it means something different, but nonetheless, it is a question we all should wrestle with. Who would you serve? Who would you share the gospel with? What would you give? Where would you go?
Make no mistake, risk is definitely a scary thing. As we look at the Bible, God usually taps those on the shoulder who will risk while others are playing it safe. Jesus has so much more for you in your walk with Him.

Help Wanted | Raiding Hell | September 27th, 2026
This week we start a new 5-week series called “Multiply,” where we will be talking about what it means to multiply as a church and plant our first campus. This is an exciting time as a church family. We’re stepping into our biggest faith step yet as a church. This will require ALL of us. We've prayed and sought the Lord on this as elders and leaders and believe this next step for us is God's will. We’re inviting everyone to take a step with us. Some of you will go, some of you will stay and serve, some of you will move from a consumer to a contributor. Multiply is an invitation to join an army, not an audience.
This week we start with Matthew 9, talking about Jesus’ words about the harvest with a message titled, “Help Wanted.” Have you noticed that places are hiring these days? It looks like everyone is short-staffed. Well, Jesus’ team was short on workers then, and it is now, and it shouldn't be, honestly. It’s actually a concern of mine personally. Less and less people think it’s their responsibility to serve Jesus. They think, “Someone else will do it,” whatever it is. This week we’re going to talk about what Jesus is asking us to do. We have a harvest, (Kent) it’s white hot for the gospel and… it’s short on workers. Instead of trying to convince and have a ton of strategies to solve this problem, we figured we would do what Jesus did… tell the people the need and… PRAY!
We all know services can be motivating, but only God can move the heart. I’ve been praying for you. Our leadership has been praying for you. This Sunday will be more of the heart-level work, the why and the what. We actually won't ask any one person to do anything. We ask all of you to ask God what He wants you to do. And we'll leave the result to Him. This is a pretty fun and exciting time as a church family.
