Fifty Firewalls: Protecting Unalienable Rights in the Age of AI | Courtenay Turner
Each State Should Have Its Own Digital Bill of Rights It was James Madison who drafted the proposals that became the United States Bill of Rights. Madison introduced them in Congress in June of 1789 and Congress revised and proposed 12 amendments on September 25; the states ratified 10 of them in December 1791. Those 10 amendments are the Bill of Rights. Did Madison worry about forgetting something important while he drafted his proposals? Probably. But what he couldn't have foreseen is the digital and AI age with its vast possibilities of citizens' total surveillance, total control and total subjugation. Much surveillance and control has already been established over the last decades. For example automated license-plate readers, camera networks, location tracking, biometric monitoring, health databases, behavioral data collection, and vast commercial data sharing with government agencies. It's high time to reclaim lost rights and to prevent that people's unalienable rights are not wiped out by technocrats' use of artificial intelligence. Patrick Wood and Courtenay Turner Wrote a Model Digital Bill of Rights for the States Patrick Wood and Courtenay Turner decided to write a model amendment of a Digital Bill of Rights providing urgently needed protections against digital and AI tyranny over citizens. However, there is a crucial difference between their model Digital Bill of Rights and Madison's proposals: theirs' is not a federal Bill of Rights but one for the states. Each state, ideally, should have its own Digital Bill of Rights. Why? Because, Courtenay says, it's better to have fifty firewalls than just one: "It is much harder to co-opt fifty individual states than it is to co-opt the central federal apparatus. "And so the hope is that through the 50 states we can start to set a precedence one at a time and there will be a ripple effect throughout where people know other states and can start to model this." Courtenay already proposed the model amendment for a Digital Bill of Rights to lawmakers in her home state Tennessee. The process, she learnt, would take until 2030 to achieve ratification as a constitutional amendment. That's why she is currently working on drafting four so-called "bridge bills" for the upcoming legislative session in Tennessee. The idea is that these bills would put key protections in place much sooner and bridge the years until ratification. The Metaphysics of the Declaration of Independence How does one go about writing a model Digital Bill of Rights? Patrick Wood, Courtenay told me, wrote the first draft: "He did a phenomenal job. But I felt what was really missing was the metaphysical firewall. And to me, that is the bulwark. And that is why the Declaration of Independence was drafted. "I think mostly what we've lost, in particular in our education system, but even in our civic arena, is that most of the elected officials don't have a true understanding of the metaphysics of the declaration of independence." She argues rights must come from a source higher than any government or company, as is the case in the Declaration of Independence. Otherwise, whoever grants a right can take it back, for any reason and at any time. The idea that rights come from a creator is therefore the metaphysical firewall that makes humans' rights unalienable, including humans' digital rights in the age of AI. "It has to be primordial, it has to be outside of this world. Otherwise, anybody who grants you rights can easily revoke them." But "unalienable" doesn't mean that such rights can't be lost. We all know very well that they can be lost if people don't defend them - and not just incrementally and almost imperceptibly but from one day to the next as during Covid. "We need to stand up for our own rights. They are unalienable, but we need to ensure that they're not taken away." The 15 Articles in the Model Digital Bill of Rights for the States Patrick and Courtenay's model amendment consists of the following fifteen articles: Source of Rights Definitions Foundational Principles Personhood and Mental Privacy Digital Privacy and Surveillance Data Control and Deletion AI in Government Property and Cash Digital Identity Consent of the Governed Free Expression Foreign Threats Digital Due Process Oversight and Transparency Interpretation and Future Technology Let's Use the Agency We Still Have Many people today feel overwhelmed and powerless faced with the extraordinarily rapid developments in AI. But Courtenay hopes that the model amendment will inspire people and show them a realistic path to establish control over AI instead of being controlled and consumed by it. She said during the interview: "There's so much apathy and people have just completely given up on the system. And I'm not saying that our system isn't flawed or corrupt. I I think it's both. "But I still think we have a lot of agency and people should utilize the agency that we have. You can't complain about the system when you're not taking action. So I really encourage people. I hope that this Digital Bill of Rights inspires them. "And I hope there are people who have the time and the desire, who will take action. And I hope that this [document] can be a guideline and an inspiration for them." Operation Warp Speed Was a PSYOP and a Crime | Sasha Latypova
Nothing Was Developed at "Warp Speed" During Operation Warp Speed. It Was Recycled Failed Research That Was Behind the Warp Speed Illusion. Operation Warp Speed was a PSYOP directed against the American people. Nothing was being developed at warp speed during Operation Warp Speed. That wasn't necessary since all the required technology for the toxic mRNA shots had already been developed since the SARS and MERS outbreaks in 2002 and 2012. This is not a new or surprising insight: The strange fact that the first clinical trials for the new, so-called vaccines started almost immediately after Covid-19 was declared a pandemic suggests exactly this. They sold it as "warp speed" and as "acceleration" but that's a lie: the basic "vaccines" and their technology already existed. They simply repackaged previously failed vaccine research from earlier SARS, MERS, and also Zika vaccine attempts and pushed the resulting toxic mRNA shots on the population using emergency rules that bypass FDA's usual safety laws. Paying Cash, Preserving Freedom | Susan Luschas

And the way we do that is by paying with cash every day." —Susan Luschas Fighting the Digital Control Grid with Cash "The only hope we have to keep our freedom is mass noncompliance. "And I think one of the best things, in fact, the best thing in my opinion that we can do today is refuse to comply with the digital control grid. "And the way we do that is by paying with cash every day." Susan Luschas holds a PhD in electrical engineering from MIT and worked on some of the earliest Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and camera chips used in smartphones. Later she moved into the energy sector where she worked on electromagnetic energy generation and storage. She also taught as a professor at Santa Clara University. Susan and her husband Manuel Luschas left Silicon Valley in 2020 during the so-called pandemic and moved to a small town in South Dakota so that their two daughters could attend school in person, unmasked. Freezing Bank Accounts of Canadian Truckers Was a Wakeup Call In early 2022, the Canadian government invoked the Emergencies Act and ordered banks to freeze the bank accounts of truckers organizing the Canadian Freedom Convoy. For at least a week, the bank accounts of around 300 people with about 8 million Canadian dollars in them were frozen. That, Luschas said, was a real wakeup call for many people, including herself. Truckers were left stranded in Ottawa. Many had no cash on them and could buy neither food nor drink. They could not pay for their hotels and could not buy gas for their trucks to drive home. Luschas told me: "They let the cat out of the bag with freezing their bank accounts because then people got a whiff of it: this is possible, they might do this. "And thank God they did that to the Canadian truckers because that was a lesson and kind of a wake-up call to a lot of people. "And I think they learned after that 'Ooh, people are getting suspicious. We better not snap the mouse trap until we're really ready to snap it on everybody.'" "Team Cash" Promotes the Use of Physical Cash Luschas founded the group "Team Cash" which promotes the use of physical cash as pushback against moving toward centrally-controlled payment systems and programmable money systems. She led the effort behind South Dakota's legislation demanding that schools must accept cash at school events like sport games after local school districts moved to cashless ticketing. Catherine Austin Fitts's Solari Report named her 2025 Hero of the Year for her work promoting the use of cash. The Power of Cash to Fight a Digital Control Grid "It's entirely possible today to control us. It's just we don't have the infrastructure to control everybody all of the time. "Once they have the infrastructure to control all of us, they will." Cash, Luschas told me during the interview, is the only form of money that can't easily be frozen, tracked, or shut off remotely, in contrast to bank accounts, credit cards, or crypto wallets. She believes paying with cash every day, in particular for groceries and gas, is a practical and easy way for people to resist a fully digital, centrally controlled financial system. Luschas recommends keeping about three months' worth of cash at home for emergencies like power outages, cyberattacks or freezing of your bank accounts. "And I think if you're someone like me who's potentially putting a bullseye on your back, then you might want to have more like six months." Cash, she says, does not only block financial control but also all the surveillance data needed to power and finetune that control. Are There Backdoors into Cash? Even cash, Luschas says, has backdoors through which cash can be controlled but in contrast to digital payment methods these backdoors are cumbersome and not easily built. "There are serial numbers and some things on cash that can be identified. "I'm sure if they put enough effort into it, they could identify the cash and identify that Susan has that cash and is going to spend it and they want to stop her from spending it. "I think that's entirely possible, but at this moment in time they are not tracking cash and we have a chance to push back and to send a message by all using cash all the time. So I think we have an opportunity. "Will they eventually put chips into money or more tracking, better tracking? They may even put QR codes on cash eventually. I don't know." But for now, there is no backdoor into cash. And that is our opportunity to resist perfecting the digital control grid by not letting go of cash. "It's entirely possible that there's things they could do, but at this moment in time, we have the opportunity to send a very loud message that we will not comply with the digital control grid." Afterwards, Susan discusses in detail which facets of life in Utopia are already present in our lives today and which ones are in the process of being created.
