Christopher Parmeter, a graduate from the class of 2001 with degrees in both mathematics and economics is not only an associate professor of economics at the Miami Herbert Business School, but he is an author having co-written the books Applied Nonparametric Econometrics and Efficiency Analysis: A Primer on Recent Advances. Of all of his publications, most recently his work was featured in the New York Times article “This Peeler Did Not Need to Be Wrapped in So Much Plastic” adding his economic background to research on Amazon’s use of single use plastic packaging. Christopher has received grants for his work most notably from EPA Environment Protection Agency, National Institute of Health, and the United States Department of Agriculture.

"Flyers in Focus"-Norlene Remollata Traveling the World and Making a Difference
Norlene Remollata is a graduate from the class of 2015. Before graduating Naz, Norlene wrote her goal on the tunnel walls, to travel the world and make a difference. She is doing just that. She not only is as a school administrator for the Garth Fagan School of Dance she handles the marketing. Norlene travels alongside the touring dance company sharing Garth's creative vision. She has created the program Dance2B, an after school program in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club and Center for Youth. This program is for Rochester city school students so they can learn from the dancers on stage and have a safe space to go after school.

Melissa Wilkinson is a graduate from the class of 2017 and current toxicology Ph.D. candidate at Rutgers University. Melissa has been and continues to be recognized for her achievements in research and being an exceptional woman in the field of toxicology, one of them being the Women in Toxicology SIG Vera W. Hudson and Elizabeth K. Weinsburger Scholarship Fund Student Award. Her dream is to work in science policy and maybe one day joining an executive branch agency such as the CDC or EPA.
