<p>Kooperative Multiplayer-Games sind in den letzten fünf Jahren durch die Decke gegangen. Vor allem komödiantische Horrorspiele wie "Lethal Company", "Content Warning" oder "REPO" haben sich millionenfach verkauft. Das Bemerkenswerte daran: Diese Spiele werden nicht von großen Studios und Verlagen entwickelt und vertrieben, sondern meist von Kleinstteams mit überschaubaren Budget. Der meist chaotische Spielspaß steht im Vordergrund, Grafik und Präsentation hingegen wirken oft rudimentär. Daher der ursprünglich abwertend gedachte Begriff "Friendslop", der aber mittlerweile positiv angeeignet worden ist.
