Hiiii!! ForFaith is about purpose, presence, and peace in the chaos - hosted by me, Faith. I'm a CA-born, NYC-livin gal navigating life with curiosity, ambition, and heart.
I created this space to process thoughts, explore big questions, and share stories that move us. After years in New York, I've seen how much we all crave honesty and connection. The name ForFaith comes from the belief that everything you do should make you proud of the life you're living, but also that everything you do should be in pursuit of what you love. Do what you believe in.
I think we are getting too ahead of ourselves about AI. Let's focus on the tangible things and let the future be the future. For example, like the sweet relationships you can have with your neighbors!! Hope you enjoy.

Catherine Barnett - award winning poet, NYC professor, enlightener, and my dad's childhood friend
Catherine Barnett actually knew my dad when they went to Gunn High School together. When my dad suggested I reach out to Catherine, I did some background research and quickly recognized how creative and immersive she is.
She is the author of 4 poetry collections and found her calling in teaching. She now teaches at NYU in a competitive graduate program for creative writing, where she challenges aspiring novelists of all different ages to connect to deeper layers of themselves and inspire them to constantly be an observer in life.
And she never fails to write 3 pages a day :)

people pleasing isn't productive
I think I have a different perspective on people-pleasing than I did previously...I think, naturally, being a woman, I am predisposed to be a bit of a people pleaser - I think it's a lot less productive than we think.
