What's good! We are Ky and Sy. We go back like fo' flats on a Cadillac. For the uninformed, that just means we've been friends for quite a while! Each week on FMS, you will hear Sy, and I (Kyron) review old & new music, celebrate the local and lesser-known musicians, and tell incredibly funny stories. Some are very true. Some are VERY made-up. :)
Thanks for your support. Praise the Lort (yes, Lord with a 'T')! Welcome to the shenanigans!
For Music's Sake - Jon Batiste "We Are" Deluxe Album Review
"We Are" reviewing (see what we did there lol) the talented and favorable music artist Jon Batiste, or Baptista according to FMS host Sy McClure lol. His "We Are" Deluxe Album has been known to be a some what poppy, soulful, and political moving album according to others, but in true For Music's Sake fashion, will the music, topics and sound stand the test of time? From making a few previous albums before this one, and being in several bands including the a band on TV Series "The Colbert Show", we take a deep dive into this multifaceted musician's views of lyrics and musicianship! Come with us FMS fam!

For Music's Sake - 2023 Interview with Sy McClure -PART 2 - Bonus Episode
PART 2!
Soooooooo..... Kyron here. It's been a while! Life be lifin'! God laughs at our plans, don't He :) Oh, but chile, won't He will? Won't HE WILL??? We back in this thang!!! So, low-key this IS an OLD episode, meaning, it was recorded a couple of years ago when we first started the pod. But, it's probably a three-parter. Back in 2023, I sneak-attacked Sy and demanded that he let me interview him. He didn't know we were doing it until a few minutes before recording. :) So, what ended up happening was what always happens, we have a good time and talk Fo'ever!!! Please enjoy Part 2 of me interviewing my Boy!
