About For The Republic: A Love Letter to Star Wars Animation
Welcome to For the Republic: A Love Letter to Star Wars Animation! A Star Wars podcast where we deep-dive into every story arc of The Clone Wars, analyze the newest Star Wars projects, and discuss our personal connections to the Star Wars universe! Hosted by Andrew (@StarlightAndrew), Donovan (@DonovanMeade), and Conor (@DepaBanana). Join us as we journey through Star Wars together!
Welcome back to For The Republic: A Love Letter to Star Wars Animation! This week, Andrew (@StarlightAndrew (https://x.com/StarlightAndrew)) & Donovan (@DonovanMeade (https://x.com/DonovanMeade)) are joined by Mads (@lite_thespark (https://x.com/lite_thespark)) once more for Donovan's return episode to the podcast! With Star Wars movie news getting people talking again, and there being many questions about the future of the franchise after next year, let's talk about the future of Star Wars! Donovan shares his thoughts on the Ahsoka Season 2 trailer from D23 and what he missed while he was away, and we discuss the reports of Jon Watts directing the 1st installment of Simon Kinberg's Star Wars trilogy. With this being rumored to be Episode X, is it a good idea to return to the Skywalker Saga? Should this be apart of the Skywalker Saga, or simply another episodic film? And do we feel these are good choices to bring us our next Star Wars trilogy? We debate the positives & negatives of it all!
