The"Forget Me Nots" podcast is musically focused on the past. Starting in the 90s and going way back. Dawn Marie, Ms. B., and Ali are friends who love music and wish to remain connected to the artist and songs that defined the past.
In this episode, we pay tribute to some of our greats who passed on to ancestorhood in February and March of this year. Ali is the host and the crew starts with their favorite Roberta C. Flack songs. Next up is one of the most influential artists of our lifetime, Roy Ayers. From Roy, we pay tribute to Jerry (The Iceman) Butler, who was spotlighted in a previous episode. Next, we show love to Angie Stone singer/rap pioneer who left us so suddenly. And we round out our episode with another Forget Me Nots Artist...the wonderfully talented Gwen McCrae. All of these artists left a mark on us, we appreciate the wonderful songs they left for us to enjoy.
