CLOSE THE DOORS 🚪🔥 | Are You Giving the Enemy a Foothold? | WATCH & PRAY Ep. 2
Have you ever asked God to remove something from your life while still holding onto the very thing He's asking you to surrender?
We're praying for peace but entertaining chaos. We're asking God for healing but holding onto unforgiveness. We're asking Him to change our circumstances, but are we allowing Him to change us?
In Episode 2 of our WATCH & PRAY series, Vanessa and Lisa are getting into a conversation that might make some of us a little uncomfortable. And that's okay! Sometimes we need to be willing to examine ourselves instead of focusing on what everyone else is doing.
Tonight we're talking about CLOSE THE DOORS: Legal Ground, Repentance & Consecration.
🚪 What does it actually mean to give the enemy a foothold?
📖 What does Scripture teach about giving the devil an opportunity, and how does that relate to what deliverance ministries call "legal ground"?
🙏 Why does submission to God come before resisting the devil?
❤️ Can unforgiveness, bitterness, and unresolved anger affect our spiritual lives?
🔥 Are we genuinely repenting, or are we just feeling sorry and continuing the same behaviors?
🕊️ What does it mean to consecrate ourselves and be set apart for God?
🪞 Are we so focused on someone else's behavior that we're overlooking what God wants to change in us?
We're also talking about the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation, how our experiences can influence our behavior without excusing it, and why knowing God's Word isn't the same as actually living it.
Here's something to think about:
What door have you been asking God to close while you keep finding reasons to leave it open?
This episode isn't about condemnation, perfection, or becoming afraid of spiritual warfare. It's about repentance, surrender, obedience, and allowing God to search our hearts.
Because before resistance comes submission.

TikTok Relationship Advice: Biblical or Toxic? 👀 | What Does Scripture Actually Say?
TikTok has A LOT to say about relationships… but should we really be taking relationship advice from our For You Page? 👀😂
In this episode of FQF Prayer, Lisa brings Vanessa popular relationship statements and trends without telling her what’s coming first. Vanessa reacts in real time and decides whether the advice is biblical, wisdom, personal preference, toxic—or just TikTok nonsense. 😂
We tackle statements like “If he wanted to, he would,” relationship boundaries, checking your partner’s phone, expectations between men and women, dating standards, communication, red flags, and more.
But instead of deciding what’s true based on likes, views, or what sounds empowering, we're bringing the conversation back to Scripture.
Because some relationship advice can sound really good until you actually stop and ask:
Is this biblical—or did the internet just convince us it is?
We also talk about the importance of recognizing the difference between biblical truth, practical wisdom, and personal preference. Something doesn't automatically become a biblical principle simply because Christians repeat it.
And there are definitely a few moments where Vanessa and Lisa don't completely agree. 😂 That's part of the conversation!
Just because something has millions of views doesn't make it truth.
Grab your coffee and join us for an honest, funny, and sometimes challenging conversation about modern relationship advice through a biblical lens.

Different by Design | Men, Women & Why We Function So Differently
Why do men and women sometimes seem like they're speaking completely different languages? 😂
In this episode of FQF Prayer, Vanessa and Lisa have an honest conversation about some of the differences between men and women—and how those differences can affect our relationships.
We talk about communication, emotional processing, handling stress, relationship needs, expectations, conflict, and what happens when we expect the other person to think, feel, and respond exactly like we do.
We also bring the conversation back to Scripture and God's design for relationships.
Different doesn't mean defective.
Men and women are equal in value, but that doesn't mean we're identical in how we experience or navigate everything. Sometimes what we interpret as “He doesn't care” or “She is overreacting” may actually involve differences in how we're communicating or processing what's happening.
At the same time, being different should never become an excuse for unhealthy behavior. “That's just how men are” or “That's just how women are” doesn't excuse disrespect, manipulation, dishonesty, or refusing to grow.
The goal isn't to prove which sex is better.
It's learning how to better understand one another. 🤎
